Q The Muziq is a professional audio engineer, mixer, and songwriter known for transforming raw recordings into polished, industry-ready records.
Raised in Atlanta, Georgia — a city known for shaping global music culture — Q developed a deep understanding of sound, rhythm, and artist identity early on. With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, she brings both technical expertise and real-world artist development insight to every project.
Beyond engineering, Q is also a former independent record label owner, where she signed and managed five artists. During that time, she helped guide talent into real opportunities, including securing a performance at the Sweet Auburn Festival — one of Atlanta’s most recognized cultural events. This experience gives her a unique edge: she understands not just how music should sound, but how it should move in the industry.
Her portfolio includes work with artists such as Tala, Panama Black, Shauncey Black, I.E., The Down & Dirty Boys, JaySun TPK, and Darnell "Deezol" Boone, among others.
Q’s dedication to excellence has also been recognized through multiple achievements, including being a 4-time mixing competition winner within Wavy Wayne's Audio Engineer Community — a respected space for top-tier engineers to sharpen their craft.
